Our Story
At Sand&Season Studio, we believe that every community deserves a healthy ecosystem of economic and social hubs. Our founder began with one guiding question: What makes a corridor a place where people want to visit and stay? The answer was never just new buildings, businesses, or funding. It was alignment—alignment between stakeholders and community, vision and strategy, and data and lived experiences. Where others see fragmented efforts, we see systems waiting to align. Where others focus only on producing plans, we focus on building meaningful relationships and helping you find solutions that actually work for you, your team, and your community.
Our work lives at the intersection of economic development, destination strategy, and place branding. From small-town main streets to large-scale commercial redevelopment sites, we blend economic insight, place identity, and community pride to create places people remember, invest in, and belong to.
Building corridors where stories and strategy align.

Jessica Williams
Founder & Principal Strategist
I believe that at the heart of every place are its people and meaningful community development begins by centering their voices. As a creative strategist, I help community and economic development partners unlock their commercial corridor's potential by connecting revitalization goals to their community’s needs.
I created Sand&Season Studio because I am passionate about helping local destinations—specifically commercial corridors—thrive. In my work as a City Planner in the public and private sectors, I saw that all too often commercial revitalization projects lacked alignment between economic development goals, the community’s needs, and local culture. My work bridges those gaps. For me, this is more than just creating a playbook or developing a plan, it’s about weaving together people, their stories, and their connections to place.
I have over a decade of experience in program management, community and economic development, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning. I have spent my career committed to advancing racial equity, building capacity for underserved communities, and improving overall quality of life for residents.
